About Me

■        I  was elected to be your Peterborough City Councillor in May 2016.

■        I am committed to making the City a better, safer, and more prosperous place to live.

■        I do not hold regular surgeries but prefer to respond directly to you when you need my support.  You can contact me by using the contact form on this site, through my regular Council email, by telephone or through Social Media.

■        After a long career in London as a Scotland Yard detective, I know that crime and disorder can quickly make our homes feel unsafe.  The residents of Fletton and Woodston enjoy a close sense of community, and want to live free from crime and disorder.  I will do all I can to influence local Police and Council workers to keep our area safe.

■        Community spirit comes about through local people being prepared to put in time and effort to run their community associations, clubs and sports groups. I have a track record of running successful voluntary groups and  I am a strong supporter of individuals and groups who care about their local community and want to make the local area a better place in which to live, work and play.

■        We deserve to have efficient, well run services that are value for money.  I will do all I can to make sure that the Council concentrates on delivering a really good level of service, using efficient and affordable services.

■        For Peterborough to become more prosperous, we have to support and promote our local businesses. I will keep a close eye on opportunities to bring employment into Peterborough so that local people can find good quality work and I will support local residents running businesses and bringing prosperity into the City.

■       It is extremely important that your local councillor communicates with local residents. I will make myself available to you and if you ask me to act on your behalf I promise to get back to you as quickly as I can.
